6mm2 Solar PV Cable – per metre

It’s worth using a good quality flex for any outdoor electrical cabling on your solar panel array. This cable is as good as it gets. It contains a 6mm2 tinned copper core, with a double layer of insulation – the outer sheath being highly abrasion-resistant and UV-resistant to provide maximum protection.

This cable is suitable for even our largest panels over short distances, and remains a good choice for smaller panels to avoid significant voltage drop where longer cable runs are needed. For large runs on sizeable solar panel arrays, we recommend using our single-insulated cable, and running it in a conduit.

Ideal for use with larger solar panels over 15A (approx 200W at 12V or 400W at 24V) and for longer cable runs.
