GSE Bottom Waterproofing Strip – Flexalu (5m x 330mm)

The 330 mm Flexalu waterproofing strip should be utilised with Slate Tiling and direct to gutter connection when used in tandem with the GSE in-roof-mounting equipment. For other tiling types the 500 mm version should be used.

Flexalu is a lead free roof flashing solution designed to replace lead in all roof applications, and is suitable for nearly all roof profiles and types including tiles, metal and polycarbonate. The strip is easy to install and requires no specialist tools, saving time and labour costs.

Installation note: the wider strip of adhesive is used at the bottom to get a higher adhesion surface
to the roofing tiles. The narrower adhesive band is stuck to a wooden batten underneath the GSE
trays (a minimum of 150 mm should be underneath the tray).
